So not only was my life sad and lonely because I didn’t know I was missing out on yummy, but it was also sad because I was missing out on being able to cook some of my favorite things. Chicken and dumplings, yummmm!
But now, living in the Post Chicken Stock era (PCS), I realize my life was a hollow shell of its true potential back in the BCS days. I didn’t know all the amazing things I could use chicken stock for. Now I’ve got six convienent, store-in-the-fridge, pourable and resealable containers so my dishes get as much or as little as they need. I’ve been adding it to pasta sauces (some of which will be coming soon), mashed potatoes, mac and cheese (!), among others–and all of my dishes are now happy and delicious. I’ve become a walking infomercial for the stuff–and for CostCo, which will be talked about much more in the coming posts.
